Applying for Services

Both parents or guardians must contact the Intake Coordinator at 204-284-4170 or email intake@wcaa.ca to apply.

Intake Appointments

  1. Initial phone call

  2. Submit necessary documentation via email

  3. Schedule intake meetings

  4. Child orientation

  • Both parents/guardians must attend separate meetings

  • The Intake Coordinator will review your situation as well as WCAA policies and expectations

  • Both parents/guardians must sign the WCAA Service Agreement

  • Tour of WCAA

  • Introduce your child(ren) to the agency

This is recommended and will be scheduled prior to starting WCAA Services upon agreement of the Custodial Parent

Fees

Fees are based on a sliding scale and determined during the initial application. The visiting parent or guardian is responsible for service fees unless other arrangements are made or the court order states otherwise.

  • Supervised Visit – up to $30.00 maximum per visit

  • Supervised Exchange – up to $15.00 maximum per Exchange

  • Observation Notes – $10.00 service fee, plus 40¢ (cents) per page

  • Payments must be made via cash, Interac debit card, Visa, or MasterCard.

  • A person receiving Financial Assistance can apply for reduced fees

Any requests for a reduction in service fees must be made to the Case Management Coordinator, along with copies of any supporting documents. Those who receive a reduced service fee may also qualify for bus fares to and from visits. Reduced fees are subject to review every 6 months.
