A Supervised Exchange is…
the transfer of children, supervised by WCAA staff, between parents or guardians.
We stagger the arrival and departure times to prevent contact with the other parent or guardian outside of our facility.
Our facility is the impartial pick-up/drop-off location.
Exchanges are scheduled:
Tuesday to Friday
10:00am–3:00pm and 6:15pm–8:30pmSaturday and Sunday
10:00am–5:15pm depending upon availability
An intake interview must be completed with both parties before we can facilitate exchanges.
We do not negotiate exchange times between you and the other parent or guardian – we record arrival and departure times, take children to the designated waiting areas, and note any concerns or issues about transferring of the children.
Because the actual visit takes place without WCAA supervision, we are not responsible for anything that may occur during the visit. Specific concerns about a visit should be discussed with your lawyer.
