We value the commitment of our volunteers to helping families in our community. We provide orientation and specialised training specific to the services offered by WCAA. Our goal is to provide meaningful volunteer placements, while creating personal and professional growth opportunities.
WCAA Volunteer Monitor Program
All volunteer monitors must participate in three (3) in-class sessions and five (5) training shifts paired with a mentor before beginning work with WCAA. WCAA volunteers who provide direct client services will learn transferable skills for future careers, such as:

Additionally, you may take on a leadership role, assist with capacity building and agency sustainability, or join us for one-time community events.

Volunteer Board Members
We are governed by a volunteer board made up of dedicated individuals with focuses in interpersonal violence, financial acumen, human resource experience, and legal knowledge.
